mailboxes.......

for the past week i have been working on mailboxes for all the kids in nics and brendas class. thank goodness its all over. last year when i did this nic only had 8 kids in his class and that took me weeks to do. this year he has 15 and it only took a couple days. i wasnt too fancy with them either so that made a difference.


this morning as i was dropping nic off at school i gave him money for his lunch. he normally takes his lunch but they were having corn dogs and there was no way he was missing out on that. anyway, when i picked him up i had apologized to him because i had forgotten to give him $ for the itty bitty book store. he said, " no mom its okay because i had a great idea today." i of course had to ask what that was. even though i knew what he was going to say. "well mom instead of giving lina my lunch $ i bought books." i could only laugh cuz i thought that was really clever of him to come up with that all on his own. my little boy is growing up... jason of course was not as amused by his great idea as i was. i can handle all this little stuff its the bigger stuff i'm terrified of. so tomorrow i will be in the cafeteria to pay his charges...
