i finally did it... yay me

I know i said in a previous post I only try and take pictures of brenda when i'm in a really good mood, i figured that might not happen for awhile and i need to make sure she has something for her scrapbook. I had her sit in her favorite room in the house, the kitchen. i told her i was gonna make her lunch if she would just please cooperate and take at least one good picture. what i mean by good- eyes open, mouth semi shut and please look somewhere in my direction. well, 1 out of 12 taken was not too bad. I got my picture, she got her lunch and now we are all happy...
i can't believe she will be 17 in a few months that totally blows me away. I remember my brother in law,rob ( okay he's my only bro in law so i guess i didnt need to put his name, lol) was always telling me how fast the time was going to fly and I never believed him. stupid girl that was 20 years ago, aaaahhhhh!!!! now i'm the one telling my nephews that. funny how life works that way, huh?

this past tuesday i was taking brenda to respite. remember the day i dropped jojo off with my mother in law? well, same day same time. taking her to respite was the whole reason i was going to that side of town to begin with. let me first say she has had the same respite provider for 10 years and never once has she thrown one of her famous tantrums. Her provider always told me how good she was and blah,blah,blah.... back to tuesday- i pulled into the driveway, got out of the car went to let brenda out of her door and much to my surprise she threw herself out of the car. she landed on the ground kicking and screaming, throwing rocks etc; etc; to try and make a long story bearable
by this time her provider came out very worried and a little old man was walking down the street collecting cans. he stops to "help" all i kept thinking is, oh mister please dont get too close to her or she might knock you out. he suggested we get her out of the sun. " oh really mister, what a fabulous idea i think i'll try that." she finally calmed down enough to get back in her seat and buckle. i decided it would be safer if i just brought her home with us because i would really like her respite provider to stay her provider... now we're off to take jojo to his mama toe and when we pull up she opened brendas door and brenda was gonna get upset all over again. i guess she thought i would try leaving her there since she didnt want to stay at respite. I'm not sure what was wrong with her that day but keep your fingers crossed because she is suppose to go to respite tonight. the funny thing about that whole day was after we dropped jojo off we headed home and made it to the freeway and we all could hear rocks rolling around on top of the surburban. when i pulled up into our drive way we still had rocks. who knows maybe there is still some as i type this.
i only had one child that prefered to always be with me and now it seems all of them are always in arms reach. well, we all know jojo still prefers his granny but i am a very close 2nd.. i guess he figures i'll do in a pinch.
that was my tuesday, wednesday i didnt leave my house not even to get the mail, that brings us to thursday- sunnies dr. appt for her biopsy results. I dont have it in me right now to go over it again. i will update about it hopefully this weekend. i will leave with saying, I think i can become a dr. because i seem to know as much as them or maybe more.
