2 days of outdoor fun....

that is totally out of the norm for me. i hate being outside and would rather spend my days inside my house. i have everything i could possibly ever need in my house air conditioning, food, water and lets not forget my computer. on thursday we went to cliffs amusement park. for those that dont know and for those that need to be reminded, i still have 5 children. that being said, not a one of them likes to spend time with me. i'll take that back sunnie still enjoys being with her mommy. maybe i will keep her from all those people so they cant corrupt her. as i was leaving sunnie joey wanted to stay with his auntie glo and forget all about me and cliffs, go figure. i do know the kids i baby sit for like to be with me so i know i cant be all that bad. jojo, helen and her older sister were the only kids to go with me to cliffs. helen had a blast i think joey did to but who knows. he is so hard to read at times because he usually hides his face or is just expressionless. his therapist said that has to do with his "sensory issues". whatever!!!!! i say it has to do with him wanting me to die a slow painful death.
shawna is helens older sister. i wish i had close up pictures of her because she is one beautiful teenager and i know this is typical to say but she is beautiful inside and out. i really believe people that have a sibling with special needs make for outstanding exceptional human beings. maybe not in all cases but in the families i know it is/has. maybe it would make for a better world if every person was directly affected by someone with special needs. i'm not just talking about a speech problem or "sensory issues" not to minimize those things but something a little more involved.
we wanted to let the kids play in the water to cool off but neither shawna or i took our swimsuit. the kids needed someone to slide with them so shawna got in with her jeans and tshirt. i thought not every teenager would have done that. they would be to worried about being seen in public or even worse by boys... she had no worries and played until joey and helen were ready to go ride again.

today we went to the spray ground. we were suppose to spend jojo's birthday there but it rained so we rescheduled for tonight. the sun was out for a bit but it was breezy and that wasnt good. it was cold and you could tell by the kids shivering. we had the whole place to ourselves for 2 hours and the kids were ready to leave after one. i had requested another date in august but i think i might just cancel it. i thought i was gonna come home to some nice pictures but no such luck. not sure what i did so wrong but on most of them you cant see faces. brenda really didnt want to get wet but jason forced her to. she kept wanting to walk off but he redirected her back under the buckets no less. there you have it two days out of the comforts of my home and i'm wondering, was it worth it? not sure i'll have to sleep on it to find out. i do know i am looking forward to a weekend indoors. i'm kinda starting to think my kids are lucky to have "those people" corrupting them or they might not ever see the sun.
one last thing:
this morning i made pancakes for joey and when he finished he started waving his hand and saying, "i'm done, i'm done, i'm done." so i turned and told him if he was done to get off the table. he decided to take another bite and wave his hand again but this time he said, "i'm almost done, i'm almost done, i'm almost done." he's nuts i'm telling ya. i think you have to see and hear him in person because reading it on here isnt as funny. his little funny voice and hand gestures are hilarious.

You can't cancel our sprinkler day I want to go. I like the one of JoJo sticking his tongue out.
