before i get to the really exciting news around the soto house i wanted to show you all sunnie's fancy friday shoes... i'm excited because they actually fit her now and if she doesnt slow down they will not fit for too long.. what is it? damned if i do and damned if i dont,lol. i thought she should be wearing fancy shoes here at home since her mother has decided to run around the house in high heels. actually, i would really like to burn those darn stupid @#%&*@@@ high heels. who invented those ridiculous things anyway???? must have been a man..... now you wanna hear the good news? and NO i am not pregnant... let me re-phrase that a little. not only no am i not pregnant hell no!!!!! ok, now that i got that out of the way. move on down to the next picture and it will be of jojo...
so its no secret that we have been having "issues" with joey. after meeting with the Dr. for his 3 yr. well check i was not a happy mother but that is a whole story in itself and i really dont want to get into all that. This week i am trying to deal or work (whichever word you prefer) with him and his issues with a new set of eyes.... i sat here beating myself up wondering how it is that i can work with other peoples "special" children but yet i couldnt handle my own. i can honestly tell you joey has been a pleasure to be with these past 2 days. wait, i bet your wondering if your on the right blog, well, you are.. remember, i said through new eyes.... he has napped every afternoon at the same time and with very little resistance. he isnt screaming as much and when he starts i am able to calm him. I think i've seen a light go on in him because he is actually understanding that screaming isnt gonna get him far and if he talks to me it will get him much further. that's it the big news around here. maybe it wasnt joey all along that needed help or to change. i think it was more his mama and believe me his mama is trying really hard...... after all the poor boy is only 3 years old, geez!!!!!!!!

So we were telling Nana Juani about Sunni Jae's "bright" silver sandles and polished toenails. We were all getting a kickout of it. Now we have something to show her. As for little Mr. Soto, I have to say that I noticed a change last night when we went to pick him up. Joey is actually listening to you and doing what he is told to do. I am impressed. WAIT, why should I be impressed, you are an awesome mama who knows exactly what to do.
