day @ the zoo

sometimes i wonder what the heck was i thinking? I'm sure i'm not the only one right? actually it turned out to be an okay day. i was just thankful it wasnt a tuesday,lol. since my sister bought us a season pass to the zoo I figured I should get use out of them. of course i had 2 three year olds with me that thought they are their own boss and should be able to walk and run all over by themselves. I guess that all worked out ok because on our drive home they both fell fast asleep. today i just might be brave enough to go to the bio park, we'll have to wait and see.
as i was trying to reorganize my stroller and sunnie i hear a little voice, "mom look me." i turned to find joey in with the flamingos. what in the world!!!! i'm screaming like a lunatic mother and he is wondering why i'm reacting that way. i just kept thinking, they have us on video and we are gonna be thrown out of the zoo and they probably will take our season passes away forever. no, i dont think anyone noticed. i'm guessing its a good thing that flamingos stink because he would have been hugging one if not.

i was trying to get joey to run on the thingy that shoots out water. he finally got brave, after some man showed him what to do.

and this is what he looked like after. Helen was a little shocked and wouldnt get near the water.

every time i ask for a picture joey gets this look on his face and says, "CHEESE" of course he is trying to boss helen and demands for her to say it also.

after listening to him once i do believe she decided he was a bit strange and refused to say it again.

back at home i couldnt find joey and when i would call out to him nothing. that is when i go into panic mode and start opening all doors. when i opened the door to the bathroom this is how i found him. instead of being mad at him for not answering me i had to just laugh.

of course i couldnt leave this little one out. she enjoyed being outside at the zoo but of course she hates the stroller so i had to carry her in the baby carry thingy i wear on my chest and she was good to go.
