Fauxhawk, Smohawk

ok Nicholas has been asking me for months to let him get a mohawk. I started having flashbacks to when i was in school. The kids that would get mohawks then were, i'll say a little strange.completely bald except for that strip of 8ft. tall bright pink and green thing they called a mohawk. So needless to say i said, we'll see during summer vacation. i should know better this is the kid that can remember his own birth. this weekend he was with my sister in law and i said it would be ok for him to get a haircut. i didnt know how to explain a mohawk but not a real mohawk. My mother in law said, yeah, a fauxhawk. what the heck, Granny Toe is hip. If jason decides to read this he will be shaking his head at me saying, hip is not a cool word to say anymore. So here he is with his new do'. as i was taking this picture he stood there and said, "WORD".

i am referring to her post on "The Duck". Nic and I were taking a walk tonight and we were talking about his upcoming trip to missouri. He said the first thing he wants to do is ride the car that goes in water. I told him I think its called the duck. His answer, oh, of course it is because a duck can walk on land and still go in water. Do you know that never crossed my mind once. that boy is quick or I'm a complete moron. I'm guessing its a little bit of both.

I am officially back to watching kids. here is little H, i wish i could show you face pics of her but i have yet to get permission from her mom. One day I'll ask so everyone can see what a cutie she is. yes, that is my just turned teenager with an attitude from you know where kid. I asked him if he would mind driving her around and he really didnt have a problem with it. I guess his "teenagerness" (that could be a word, ya know) went away for a bit. truthfully he probably is still under the maximum weight allowed on that toy.
