sunnie is now 4 months old...

we had her 4 month check up today and things seem to be okay. she now weighs 15lbs 7oz which i think isnt too bad because i was expecting a lot more. she got 4 shots and one oral. poor little thing she already wasnt feeling good and to add shots to the mix hasnt been pretty. the bad terrible mother that i am i "needed" to take pictures of her. i totally spaced out the shots she had gotten earlier and i stuck her in her pink chair. you know the one, the one that squeezes the heck out of chubby legs. yup, she cried and yup, i felt terrible. stupid chair.... the dr. asked, is she trying to roll over? i said, "she hasnt rolled over yet, i think because she's a little too chubby." his answer, well, thats why i said tried.. he also wanted to know if she is grabbing at things but that answer was also no. 2days ago i already started going down the list of things she should be doing so i was well aware that she should be doing those 2 things. you all out there know what a freak of a mother i am so guess what games we played when we got home? later in the day i found her completely on her side almost to roll over but the crib stopped her. as you look at the other pictures you will see she really was grabbing at the toys. i'm just glad i had my camera when she did it because even now i'm having a hard time believing it. i keep thinking i want her to do it so bad maybe i'm making it up.. remember i didnt deny i am a freak.

cant you just see how bad she is feeling? i'm guessing any normal mom would have stopped taking pictures at this point.

i not only continued taking them i added different accessories. she is not amused....

see look at her little hand grabbing that toy. believe me if you want but i didnt place it there.

i love when babies find their hands and feet they stare at them with such amazement. of course i had to let the dr. know she has found her hands. he didnt seem too impressed..

"mom, stop taking pictures.."

just one more and only because i thought it was cute. she's takes out her pacifier so she can stick her whole hand in her mouth. i got pictures of that too but i figured i've already posted enough.
I have a lot more things to blog about but i think i will spare you for tonight. tomorrow i will post about the things you can learn from a six year old. can you guess what six year old?
