valentines day, ok?!!!! Jasons band had to play tonight so we postponed our annual valentines dinner til tomorrow. Heck, i think we need to do that with every holiday because by the morning target will have everything 50% off. I cant wait to go shop for all the cute stuff to decorate the dining room with. I LOVE VALENTINES DAY!!! really i cant tell you why but i just do. i guess it has to do with all the cute pink stuff and it reminds me winter is on its way out and spring is almost here. every year we have a dinner with some kind of heart shaped food and of course everything has to be red or pink. Tomorrow we will be having heart shaped calzones and other stuff that i have yet to figure out. i hope you all had a very nice day and by monday i will post pictures from our celebration. now i will leave you with some random pictures ;)...

Nicholas started making me valentine cards since last wednesday night. i love it!!! One night at bedtime he said "mom, dad i put a valentine under your pillow but you cant look at it until the morning." of course jason and I had to look as soon as we got into bed. this is what we found, it was a bit of a shock to read jasons and i did feel kinda bad for him. what is that about???? I'll be honest and say i was very happy (kinda relieved) to read what he wrote me. Nicholas tends to be brutally honest and sometimes that can be upsetting. my favorite part of his drawing the heart in place of the O.

Here is the paper cake I made for gracies birthday. I filled all the "slices" of cake with small nail polish bottles, plastic rings, candy etc. I think it turned out okay but i never seem to be happy with my creations. Here is her birthday banner. i will say i was happy with all except for the placement of the letters. some were crooked and some (P's) were placed way to high. oh well, i think gracie liked it and thats all that matters. thats what i keep telling myself anyway.
