happy national scrapbook day....

I'm a little late because it is now after midnight but as always better late than never.... my plan was to hang out and scrap all day but of course that didnt happen. can you believe we actually have a day for scrapbooking? every year as its approaching i always ask jason what he plans on getting me for this "holiday"... i think he thinks i'm joking because i have yet to receive anything ;).... I was able to make a few cards that i've been working on forever. I told my mother in law weeks ago i was making cards for her students and well, it has yet to happen. Granny, i do believe i'll get your cards to you when you bring jojo home... i hope lol. i have gotten terrible with time and cant seem to finish what needs to be finished. i finally got around to a birthday gift and the party was 3 weeks ago. We were unable to attend the party but still the least i couldve done was have the gift the monday after. o well, its done now and thats all that matters.
I'm always looking for different ways to give gifts. I guess just for the simple fact of being different. obviously its a pail & shovel but inside has socks, sesame street hair acc., a zoe figurine and hanging on the side zoe brush, mirror and comb. Lots of pink and oh so girly two of my favorite things.

I'll tell you this gift almost never made it to its destination and of course i'm gonna tell you why. friday jason took nic on his field trip to the aquarium so he took my camera-reason why i had to use my phone to take these pics. He also took my car so thats why i had to walk to pick up helen from school. He took the stroller i normally walk with-reason why i had this rinky dink sorry excuse for a stroller. not only am i running kinda late (i was trying to finish gift) I'm pushing a stroller without a child in it and people driving by were looking at me funny. as i was walking i stepped on the brake and almost ate sidewalk because i was more concerned with the plastic gift that wouldve been just fine if it fell but of course i wasnt gonna let that happen. you would think that was it but oh no! i forgot to take the pictures in the privacy of my house so i had to stop in front of the school and take them. now i'm not only pushing an empty stroller, carrying a pink toy bucket thingy i am now taking pictures of it. people were not only driving by looking at me funny they were stopping to look at me funny. I'm telling you if i only would do important things with my time and if jason didnt do so much "taking" of my things on friday most of this could've been avoided. And i wonder where my teenage son gets blaming others for his doings from, hmmmm???? why is it that everything i do always has a very long story to it??? could it ever be JUST a picture or JUST a walk? of course not..... ;)
